About The Role
You will work alongside the Registered Manager to support staff, maintain standards, and help ensure children experience a stable, nurturing environment.
This role requires clear leadership, strong safeguarding awareness, and the ability to balance operational oversight with a child-centred approach.
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the home and helping lead the staff team.
- Overseeing care planning, recording quality, and safeguarding standards.
- Helping guide staff development, supervision, and reflective practice.
- Working closely with professionals, families, and therapeutic partners.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in residential childcare with previous senior or leadership responsibility.
- Confidence in supporting teams and maintaining regulatory standards.
- Strong communication, organisation, and decision-making skills.
- A calm and child-centred leadership style that builds trust and clarity.
