About The Role

You will help ensure the home remains safe, calm, and well supported through the night, providing reassurance when needed and responding appropriately to any concerns.

This role suits someone who can work independently, stay alert, and bring a calm, dependable presence during overnight shifts.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Maintaining a safe overnight environment for children and young people.
  • Responding calmly to any needs, incidents, or concerns during the night.
  • Completing night-time checks, handovers, and written records.
  • Helping the team maintain consistency between day and night practice.

  • The ability to work independently while following clear procedures.
  • Good safeguarding awareness and attention to detail in recording.
  • Experience in care is helpful, but values and consistency matter most.
