About The Role
You will help create a home where children feel safe, heard, and supported. This includes everyday routines, meaningful relationships, and steady support through both ordinary and difficult moments.
The role suits someone who can stay calm under pressure, work well as part of a team, and bring warmth, patience, and clear boundaries into residential care.
What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting children with routines, activities, education attendance, and appointments.
- Building trusted relationships through consistent, relationship-led care.
- Contributing to risk management, safeguarding, and daily recording.
- Working as part of a team to keep the home settled, safe, and nurturing.
What We Are Looking For
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to respond thoughtfully under pressure.
- A genuine commitment to helping children feel safe and valued.
- Good communication, professional curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
- Previous residential care experience is helpful, but values and potential matter most.
